Description

A teacher-and-staff survey instrument assembled by Tommy Wells et al. from the TRUST and Panorama Education instruments, with added demographic and school-NSLP items, to measure educators’ emotion regulation, relationship management, well-being, and school-climate perceptions.

Components

  • Combined TRUST and Panorama Teacher and Staff Survey instrument for adult SEL: The study's survey instrument combines elements of two existing instruments: the TRUST, which "evaluates respondents' emotion regulation (effectiveness for making themselves feel better) and relationship management skills (building/maintaining a positive teacher-student relationship)", and Panorama Education's Teacher and Staff Survey, which assesses professional well-being and school climate perceptions. Demographic items and school NSLP percentages were added. It was administered to K-8 educators from March to April 2024 with a 19% response rate. (Tommy Wells et al. (2024))
