Description¶
An open-ended, formative template proposed by Natalia Kucirkova and colleagues for evaluating and strengthening evidence about educational technology, intended to complement internal research and national standards.
Components¶
- Use EVER as a formative, open-ended evaluation prompt to promote equitable access to evidence evaluation, not as a good/bad verdict: The authors position EVER as a constructive template rather than a certification. They state it "is best used as part of formative evaluations; it is not intended to determine 'good' or 'bad' solutions but rather to offer a constructive template for addressing the current lack of EdTech evidence in the ecosystem", and its open-ended nature is intentional to acknowledge limited access of smaller start-ups from low and middle-income countries to research teams and testing possibilities.
