Description

The guest editors created an evaluative rubric for reviewers of theoretical papers, rating each criterion on a scale of 1 to 3. The five criteria are that "The article should be… INSTRUCTIVE", SCHOLARLY, PRACTICAL, LOGICAL, and of high WRITING QUALITY. Instructive asks whether the theoretical framework expands current perspective and makes a genuine contribution; scholarly asks whether it suggests new research and/or development directions; practical asks whether it suggests new recommendations for Learning, Design, and Technology practice; logical asks whether the article provides a strong, logical argument using existing literature or evidence; and writing quality covers clarity of expression, flow, and effective use of headings and visuals.
