Description¶
An observation coding scheme adapted from prior work that integrates spatial pedagogy space types with team-teaching research. "The final coding scheme distinguished six spatial pedagogy behaviours organised into three broader categories": Instruction (Lecturing), Interaction (Ts-S interaction, T-S interaction, T-Ss interaction), and Collaboration (Assisting, T-T interaction). Supervisory and Personal space behaviours were not retained because they typically involve little or no sustained speech. Inter-rater reliability on a pilot session reached a Cohen's Kappa of 0.75.

Claims¶
- High-experience team teachers show higher voice-quality/spectral-structure and greater loudness-dynamics components than low-experience teachers across spatial pedagogy behavioural categories [+W]
- Teacher talk differs acoustically by student cohort: undergraduate classes show higher loudness-dynamics components while postgraduate classes show higher spectral-slope and voice-quality components [+W]
