Description¶
The didactic intervention was a training scenario divided into three sections representing three different literary texts, based on the 5E Instructional Model (Bybee, 1997) founded on the constructivism-based Atkin and Karplus (1962) model. Its purpose is to encourage students to enrich their initial thinking with additional knowledge and change misconceptions. The five phases are Engagement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration and Evaluation, carried out cooperatively with the experimental group working at networked workstations.
