Description¶
The PS-ASD model increased the structure and intensity of Project SEARCH learning experiences by ensuring the use of applied behavior analytic techniques throughout classroom instruction and internship supports. Techniques include "scored task analyses for teaching multistep tasks, structured repeated trials for discrete tasks, behavioral rehearsal for specific social skills, visual and self-directed prompting procedures for transitioning, self-management procedures for behavioral challenges, and reinforcement for appropriate behavior," with regular data review, functional behavior assessment, and customized employment to match tasks to intern strengths.
Design Implications¶

Learning Goals¶
- Multistep job task performance
- Workplace social skills and self-management
