Description

A non-academic after-school curriculum for K–1 children built from increasingly complex constructional tasks, tracing and motor precision "Paper and Pencil Activities", and gross motor games such as Red Light Green Light and Simon Says selected to exercise impulse control, sustained attention, and working memory. Activities were screened with four criteria including adaptability, complexity, trainability, and variety of materials, and were delivered by trained paraprofessionals to groups of four to seven children.
