Description

A flexible blended learning model in which an online platform delivers most of the curricula: face-to-face instruction comprised 12 sessions in a computer lab (project discussion, feedback, workshop, computer-assisted instruction), and online learning comprised 20 asynchronous (e-mail, discussion forum, Facebook) and synchronous (chat, video, audio conference) sessions. The program ran approximately 8 weeks, 4 days per week, totalling 32 two-hour periods, and was delivered via a web-based learning platform (https://sites.google.com/site/alearningy/). The control group received 32 classroom and computer-laboratory sessions with trainer-discussed assignments instead.

Design Implications
