Description

The intervention pattern organized instruction into five cycles of four 120-minute sessions each, preceded by an orientation session on the WebQuest. In each cycle "participants were required to choose one lesson from the WebQuest and prepare a lesson plan to peer-teach at the end of the cycle." Session 1 was surfing the WebQuest in the university lab, Session 2 teamwork within sub-groups, Session 3 exchanging of information in one big circle, and Session 4 teaching and feedback with a post conference assessing performance against the WebQuest's evaluation rubric. Target teaching skills were rotated among sub-groups across cycles.
