Description

The report organizes the intervention around a "4-step formative assessment process (Heritage & Popham, 2013) that is integrated throughout the ASSISTments platform": (1) create assignments aligned with grade-level standards using OERs or Skill Builders; (2) assist students through immediate feedback, hints, and explanations; (3) assess class performance by reviewing reports to identify needs; and (4) analyze answers together by projecting anonymized reports for whole-class discussion of misconceptions. The vPLC embedded this cycle across its session content.
