Description

The authors developed a course and methodic recommendations on material of English for forming students' creative independence, including "test tasks, speech situations, creative tasks for knowledge of lexical, grammatical material". Procedures suggested include analysis, heuristic methods, vision of structure of object, alternative decisions, creation of essentially new ways of solving a problem, and use of elements of game activity, with question-answer work as a form of control. Formation was estimated by performance of creative tasks such as making up dialogues, writing compositions and letters, and translating texts and verses.
