Description

Students identified design features of the OAV environment that supported their learning: scaffolding elements "including videos and clues", which they called "very helpful and instructive"; learning through discovery that made them more active; and activities in which they "learned to put visual commands in the right place and in the right order, otherwise the applications would not work", which they said improved their progressive thinking skills. One student described code.org as "a good practice environment that enables users to learn coding following a unique strategy that involves tips and videos".
