Description

The OPS-English design pattern combines situation-based activities that give students opportunities to discuss and prepare oral presentations with a wide range of vocabulary, continuous drilling of pronunciation while listening and pronouncing, and collaborative group work on oral assignments. The article reports that group work lent support to weaker learners from stronger ones and created a friendly, active classroom atmosphere in which students were motivated to talk and present.
