Description

P2BPS is a learning program designed so that students "construct and find their own knowledge through a series of scientific methods". It proceeds through the stages of observing, formulating problems and hypotheses, collecting data by experiment, processing and associating data, drawing conclusions, and communicating what was found. The article applies it in general physics II for prospective physics teachers, beginning each activity with an authentic real problem encountered in everyday life and organizing group investigation, analysis and communication of results to other students.
