Description

The site coordinator is a clinical faculty role at residency partner educator preparation programs, described by US PREP as a "critical linchpin" to transformed residencies and much expanded compared to typical clinical field supervisor assignments. Beyond observing and coaching candidates, site coordinators provide mentor training and professional development, facilitate EPP–district partnership governance meetings, and compile and present resident clinical performance data to inform partnership improvement. As one US PREP staff member noted, "They're engaged with all stakeholders. They're the one responsible for gathering the data and supporting residents, mentors, and principals during the actual yearlong residency."
