Description¶
A unit-level instructional pattern in which each week anchors target vocabulary in a realistic accounting situation: a balance sheet video with group problem-solving, analyzing a cash flow statement and writing a response e-mail as an accountant, discussing a real local shop's weekly sales report, and computing financial ratios from self-found statements. Students prepared videos outside class, shared them in a class whatsapp group, and gave peer feedback while the instructor provided instructional support. The article states this design "included out-class authentic activities which were parallel to in-class activities", which the authors say minimized misunderstandings.
