Description

A researcher-designed training program delivered through an obligatory "Teaching Thinking" faculty course, using "interactive training that largely depend on brainstorming, discussion, dialogue, team work, streaming of and illustrative movies." It targeted six non-cognitive skills: locus of control, planning, empathy, self-confidence, growth mindset, and grit. Students worked individually or in groups, concepts were introduced via short films and planned activities, there were no textbooks, and assessment used practical interactive projects rather than pen-and-paper exams.
