Description

The What Is a Place? module was an introductory module developed by an urban development researcher at Aalborg University and a Danish learning platform developer to bridge skills between students and the professional urban development community. "The module comprised an introduction by the teacher or urban planning researcher and a five-minute video of Tivoli," a familiar Copenhagen amusement park. Students analyzed urban spaces using three questions about what can be measured and sensed, felt and valued, and explained, with an urban development researcher participating as a co-teacher leading the discussion.
