Voyager Universal Literacy System® is a core reading curriculum developed for students through grade three, combining teacher-led individual, small-group, and whole-class literacy instruction with computer-based practice in phonological skills, comprehension, fluency, language development, and writing.

Components

• Voyager Universal Literacy System® core reading program: A core reading program "designed to help students learn to read at or above grade level by the end of the third grade." It uses "individual reading instruction, higher-level comprehension activities, problem solving, and writing," plus computer-based practice in phonological skills, comprehension, fluency, language development, and writing, delivered in whole classroom, small group, and independent settings.
