Description

To handle heterogeneity across FSR measures, the authors inductively reviewed more than a dozen survey instruments and derived a categorical coding scheme. As they state, "we extracted the following six dimensions: caring attitude, approachability and accessibility, personal connection and bonding, inclusivity, mutual respect, and encouragement and engagement." Each dimension has an operational definition and sample items (Table 2), and each effect size was flagged via a checklist approach for which dimensions its measure contained, enabling dimension-based moderator analysis.
