Description¶
INSIGHT (Information on Schooling with Generative AI and Helpful AI Tools) is a three-hour in-person TPD session for in-service teachers, designed as a pilot intervention to be iteratively refined before larger-scale transfer. It "combines theoretical input, hands-on experiences, and guided reflection" and consists of four parts: an introduction to AI, a hands-on session training an ML system with Google’s Teachable Machine, a session on LLM-supported individualised instruction, and a session on teacher-guided support of students’ AI competencies. It was evaluated in a pilot pre-post study across five schools in one German federal state.
