Description¶
The article's organizing framework is a seven-part scheme spanning the definition of social tolerance as "benevolent respect for differences", the formation goal (understanding of social differences with active negative attitude toward asocial behavior), content (familiarity with history, culture and social interaction of subcultures), interactive methods, a substitution mechanism redirecting group energy into socially significant creative activity, influence on the causes of asocial behavior, and criteria (moral values, tolerance index, conflict-related competence). It was embedded fragment-wise in courses, electives and teaching practice.
