Description

A Digital Promise student survey measuring course experiences, digital-learning practices and challenges, and equity and inclusion perspectives, with demographic data for disaggregation and dashboard reporting.

Components

  • Equity in Digital Learning Survey (EDLS): The EDLS is a student survey developed by Digital Promise for the RPP, administered in spring 2021 and spring 2022 and also to a nationally representative undergraduate sample in May 2021 for comparison. Per the report, "The Equity in Digital Learning Survey (EDLS) solicited students' course experiences and perspectives related to course quality, digital learning practices and challenges, and equity and inclusion practices." It asks students to self-report age, race/ethnicity, gender, urbanicity, and family income category to support disaggregation, and results were provided to teams via interactive dashboards.
