A public dataset of 1,492 anonymized, expert-annotated teacher-written classroom case studies developed from Czech trainee teachers' teaching-practice experiences.
Components¶
- Edustories dataset of 1,492 teacher-written classroom case studies with expert annotations: Edustories is a public dataset of 1,492 teacher-authored case studies describing challenging classroom situations, each with "a narrative description of the situation, the teacher's chosen response or intervention, and the implied outcome". Stories were written by 241 trainee teachers during Czech teaching practice, enriched with categorical features peer-reviewed by two independent education experts, anonymized in two stages, and translated from Czech to English.
