Description

A self-administered five-point Likert questionnaire developed by Tabares-Cruz et al. to measure university students' ethical, cognitive, self-regulatory, and institutional dimensions of generative-AI use across seven dimensions.

Components

  • 44-item questionnaire measuring seven dimensions of ethical GenAI use: A newly developed self-administered instrument with 44 items across seven dimensions: six predictor constructs of six items each and an eight-item ethical-use dimension, answered on a five-point Likert scale. Reliability was satisfactory to high, with Cronbach's alpha ranging "from 0.861 for institutional guidance and ethics education to 0.924 for the ethical use of generative artificial intelligence," and composite reliability from 0.896 to 0.938. Seven reverse-worded items were retained after reverse-scoring. (Tabares-Cruz YB et al. (2026))
