Description

BSC is an approach in which "two or more physical classrooms" are "fully integrated together to support online real-time interaction among teachers and students in different locations". It blends multiple physical classrooms with synchronous cyber classrooms and asynchronous cyber classrooms, using tools such as video conferencing systems, electronic whiteboards and interactive response systems. The article applies BSC to bring urban teachers to rural schools and evaluates its effectiveness over two years.
