Description

STAR Lite is a one-semester advising intervention for undergraduate students on academic probation, grounded in a strength-based mindset and tailored to individual student needs. Participation requires "meeting with an assigned STAR Lite advisor at least three times during the academic semester." The program uses a cohort model allowing students to work together and share experiences, building peer-to-peer community support guided by the Neighborhood Student Success Model. Students with GPA under 2.0 who are Exploratory Preference (undeclared) majors are invited to participate.
